LAWN MAINTENANCE

Mowing -
Once per week during the growing season, noticeable grass clippings will be removed from the turf.  All curbs and drives every time the surrounding lawn area is maintained.

Trimming -
Around all buildings, trees, fences and other objects every time the surround­ing lawn area is maintained.

Clean-up -
Clearance of sidewalks, curbs, parking lots and general removal of debris af­ter each lawn servicing.

SHRUB AND BED MAINTENANCE

All shrubbery will be trimmed, beds will be weeded and cultivated and all debris will be removed.

WEED CONTROL & FERTILIZER

Timely applications of pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control along with the proper fertilization for the seasonal conditions.

TREE & SHRUB CARE

All shrubs and trees will have regular applications of insecticide, fungicides and pesti­cides to prevent and control unwanted insects, disease and pest. Dormant oil will be ap­plied during the winter where appropriate. All shrubs and trees will be fertilized as ap­propriate for geographic area.

WEED CONTROL OF PAVEMENT

All cracks in pavement will be treated as needed to insure a sterile appearance of the property.

BED HERBICIDE

Plant safe herbicides will be used to control and prevent weeds and grasses in land­scape bed areas as needed to insure minimal undesired growth between shrub and bed maintenance visits.

TRASH PICK-UP

Weekly, throughout the year, the property will be policed for trash and debris.

TREE TRIM

During dormancy, trees will be trimmed away from structures and walks to insure proper growth and branching.

IRRIGATION CHECK

Monthly, during the growing season, the sprinkler system will be moni­tored for proper operation. In the spring, the system will be activated for the year. In the fall the system will be properly shut down to prevent winter damage.

LAWN THATCHING / AERATION

Lawn thatching and/or aeration will be performed appropriate to local growing conditions.

LEAF CLEAN-UP

Throughout the fall and winter months, leaves and debris will be removed from all turf, landscape and paved areas.

MULCH/BARK

New mulch/bark will be added to all planting beds as needed to give the landscape a fresh appearance.

SEASONAL COLOR

Bedding plants will be installed for the appropriate seasonal color.  Hanging baskets will be installed and maintained each summer

MONTHLY INSPECTION

Monthly, throughout the contract, the property will be inspected by N.E.A Turf Care and any needed minor maintenance will be performed. This inspection will focus on insect, disease and fungus problems on all plant materials.
